Life is about choices. Nick Carswell & The Elective Orchestra have chosen to make meaningful acoustic music that makes you stop and think.

Formed around the songs of Nick Carswell, The Elective Orchestra include Sian Murray, Deirdre and Kate Cussen, Ferg O’Neill and Bart Kiely. The band have been making music since late 2007 and have fast developed a reputation for impassioned and captivating live performances. Their debut single “When I’m Not Around” was released in April 09 to warm reception, and after a tour and Electric Picnic appearance, the band are back in the studio finishing the debut album.

With the lovingly-crafted LP due very soon, this debut may prove to be one of the most exciting releases of the year.
